Conference of “Cryptocurrency analysis in the world and Iran”

During a recent meeting on digital currencies in the world and its future in Iran Behzad Ghasemi, an expert in the field of digital currency and cybersecurity in Iran, while agreeing that cryptocurrency is a suitable platform for the economic growth and development of the country, added: “Major investment opportunities in this field are available in Iran and the market should not be limited to mining.” Saying: “In fact, the development of software services and products in blockchain and digital currency and the presentation of products in the international market, has brought the highest added value to the country and many young Iranian professionals in this field are working in the country.”

Alireza Jalalian, another expert and analyst in the field of cryptocurrencies, said on the subject of “cryptocurrency market in the world and Iran”: "The rapidly growing $ 200 billion-a-year market is a sign of a new economic reality in the world that cannot be ignored."

Regarding the opportunities and challenges, he added: "Lack of government control, full transparency of transactions, the formation of a parallel economy and currency, the devaluation of global currencies such as the dollar, the use of Bitcoin (BTC)  in illicit transactions, trade facilitation, security and related transactions, Cryptocurrency theft, etc are among the threats and opportunities of the growing cryptocurrency industry in today's global market and Iran."

Bahman Habibi, another blockchain activist, also referred to the Iranian market and its opportunities in this field and said: “After Iran's Internet was disconnected by the government during the protests last November, we realized how active Iranian youth are already in the and cryptocurrency markets. This trend indicates the daily activity of $ 40 to $ 100 million in digital currencies in Iran. So we are dealing with a large market in the country and many people who are active in this field, which can no longer be ignored."
