The news hit hard considering I’ve been a schoolgirl myself not so long ago and I have close relatives to be concerned about at the moment. The thing is, most people around the world don’t have a clue of how things are in Iran and these girls even look like!
The First Day of School in Iran
When you’re 6-7 years old, you get to go to school in uniform like this, the exact uniform is the same around Iran but the color can be different from school to school.
Kids mostly don’t give a rat a.. about their Hijab and covering their hair. They are happy girly creatures like their piers around the world, nevertheless, they are obligated to cover their hair.
Therefore, despite all they made to accept, they find a way around it one way or another. They have to keep their nails short and are not allowed to use makeup but they make their mission to be mischievous and defy the unjust rules.
I’m not saying they struggle or anything, but they become resilient because they have to answer more than you can imagine for their age compare to other nations and it is not a bit easy for them even now.
That is why, unlike the picture that Islamic Republic like to show of Persian women:
