In the name of happiness & affection, a man proposed to his beloved in a public famous sight, to share his joy with all, but turns out, he shouldn’t have!
They call it a “Western-style” proposal and apparently, it is forbidden according to backward officials of the Islamic Republic regime in Iran. Don’t be shocked, we’re certainly used to this behavior, yet we still struggle for progress.
Fun Facts!
- In Iran, wearing a tie is prohibited especially for office workers, but there is nothing wrong with wearing a suit. It doesn’t mean people don’t wear one at all, mostly at parties & weddings!
- Women must cover their hair. Women's skin should not be visible except for the face and palms, but men can wear whatever they desire!
(Of course, let's not ignore the fact that nobody cares about these backward laws these days and every day we see the stupidity left behind more & more.)

- In Iran, men and women (especially women) are not allowed to dance publicly! Women are not allowed to sing in public at all (men are free to do so!)

- Women are not allowed to ride bikes & motorcycles. But as you can see, we defy that rule and try to push back…

- In Iran, alcoholic beverages are completely prohibited and their consumption is considered a big crime! (again, no one listens. I can say with certainty that alcohol consumption is very common here! maybe more than some places around the world, but it is completely sneaky and secret!)
- Also, having sex outside of marriage is strictly prohibited and has a heavy punishment! (But the truth is that Iran is a big brothel)
It's ugly & bitter but none of these so-called morality restrictions have kept our society away from deviations, but more or less, drove them to go under ground.

A dark formidable underground network of corruption, prostitution, drugs & alcohol. They are all here and Mollas haven’t slightly eradicated these so-called unholy manners.
As a result, this abhorrent invisible face, has been growing vastly, especially with people becoming penniless & second-class eradicating.
Like a rotten apple with a shiny exterior, Iran's society was on the verge of collapse, but the “Woman, Life, Freedom” came to rescue…
