Terminology introduction

"If you want to invest in something with minimal risk and a guaranteed high return - invest in yourself." - someone somewhere once said, and he couldn't be more right.

Not investing in yourself is like sailing down a fast river without an oar, map or knowledge of what awaits you around the next bend. Things may go well for a while, but at a certain point you'll realize you've made a big mistake.

Invest in a better understanding of yourself and your desires, plans, professional skills, knowledge, creating a personal brand and profile. Consult with experts, go to courses, improve your skills. Investing in yourself is risky, but it always pays off a lot, it's just a question of time. The power is in your hands; If you are responsible for your actions, then it is your job to ensure that you do not stray from the right path. It is your job to nurture growth and prosperity.

Along that way, don't be surprised when someone tells you, and they certainly will, that investing in yourself is selfish thing. Your ears should never accept such nonsense!
