Can cryptocurrencies create family problems?

I have been interested in the world of cryptocurrencies for a long time, there is only one problem, my parents are against capitalism and they think that everything is pyramid scams. I have been learning about currencies such as Ethereum, Bitcoin or Chainlink for some time, which form a large majority of my portfolio. My parents keep telling me that I am losing money and to stop "gambling" on things that don't make sense. That's when I ask you two questions.

Do you think that cryptocurrencies are the future and therefore that I will be able to prove to my parents that I was right?
Do you think it is worth having family problems to invest in something that my parents do not believe in?
