Flat 20% annual interest with daily payouts

When you sign up for the crypto.com ecosystem, you have access to their interest-earning staking program on the mobile app.

The highest interest you can get on the mobile app is 18% on CRO token but you have to have staked 500 MCO or more in order to get that interest.

Instead of using the staking option on the mobile app, you should activate the crypto.com exchange. The exchange gives 20% annual interest when you stake CRO for 180 days.

If you stake 10000 CRO (roughly $500), you will earn 20% a year (total of 2000 CRO) but you actually get paid (2000/365) 5.47945 CRO every single day.

You can choose to spend the daily payouts, reinvest it, or transfer the CRO to another crypto.

Compound interest with soft staking 3% or 5%

Crypto.com exchange allows you to do something called "soft staking". It means that if you simply hold any crypto on their exchange, they will give 0.25% to 5% interest every day just by holding any crypto asset on the exchange. The payout depends on how much CRO you have staked and what crypto you hold.

With CRO, you will get an extra 3% or 5% annual interest on the 5.47945 CRO daily payments.

Reinvest CRO daily payments to 12% or 14% hard staking

You can move funds between the crypto.com exchange and the mobile app without any associated cost.

If you move the daily payouts back to the mobile app, you can earn an extra 12% or 14% extra interest on the daily payouts on the flexible plan depending on how much MCO you have staked initially. I have applied for the Jade Green card and staked 500 MCO so I get 14% interest on the flexible plan.

The payouts of the mobile app staking are paid out once every week (7 days) so you will not get as much compound interest on this part. But 12/14% is better than 3% or 5% on soft staking.

Remember that minimum stake on any CRO earn plan is always 10k CRO. But if you use flexible plan, you can unstake your current stake (let's say 10k CRO) and restake it immediately with additional funds (10.2k CRO) without losing your 7 day payouts, and getting the compound interest effect rolling.

Total annual interest

Here is the calculation what is the real interest rate if you min-max your interest with CRO.

If you simply stake on the crypto.com exchange and get 3% soft staking yield, your real annual interest would be roughly 20.3%.

If you stake more than 100,000 CRO, you will get 5% soft staking yield and your real interest would be roughly 20.5%.

If you can reinvest CRO daily to 12 or 14% programs, you can get 21.2% or 21.4% annual interest.

Total annual interest will go even higher when you consider all the benefits of staking on the crypto.com exchange.
