A full week has passed since the highly anticipated and long awaited update hit RollerCoin.
In case you aren’t familiar with RollerCoin, it is an online Bitcoin mining simulator game, which rewards you with Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE) and RollerTokens (RLT).
The game allows you to build your own virtual data center to generate power. You generate power by playing mini games. This “power” in game then allows you to mine BTC, ETH, RLT, and DOGE. In addition, RollerCoin allows you to purchase digital Miners to help you earn more power.
What has been your experience so far with the new update ? Here are my personal thoughts:
The Event Pass wasn’t all that I was hoping it would be, at least for the users who do not purchase the 149.99 RLT pass. I’ve seen plenty of feedback where users are complaining that the pass is not friendly for new users… I would have to respectfully disagree with that statement. The pass is perfect for new users!
New users now have the opportunity to receive 15 RLT at level 16 if they meet the XP requirements. Before the introduction of the pass, a new user would have to spend MONTHS mining RLT just to get 15 RLT! A casual, new player can now earn enough XP to get the 15 RLT at level 16 if they logged in and collected the daily bonus and played roughly 20-25 games per day. That’s less than 30 minutes a day!
Of course I would’ve been so much happier if RollerCoin would’ve given us FREE Miners as well but sadly that’s not the case for this season… but that could change in the future.
For the users who do have the funds to pay for the event pass, they will be at an even bigger advantage and will be that much more difficult to catch up. In my opinion that doesn’t bother me at all because that’s just how the real crypto market is… The crypto whales will always be ahead of the game. I’m just happy to be earning free money here and there.
The Daily Login Bonus is great for ALL RollerCoin users. This encourages everyone to login everyday. While you’re logged in, you might as well play a game or two to keep your PC upgraded to its max level. Playing 15 minutes twice a day will ensure that you will reach 150 games by the end of the week.
The Daily Shop Sales provide new users the opportunity to pick up older Miners that they missed out on, provided they have enough funds and are quick enough to purchase them before they sell out. I can see how veteran players may not like this feature as much, as it makes their collection less valuable now that their “limited miner” can now be purchased in the sale section. I personally love the feature since I missed out on all the holiday miners. Will EVERY miner be made available in the shop? I still think there will be certain “exclusive” miners that will be truly “limited.”
Bottom line for RollerCoin- Now is a great time for new players to join in and earn free crypto. Veteran players now have more of an incentive to invest more of their earned money back into the game by purchasing the pass.
New players should not enter the game with the mindset that they will be making hundreds of dollars in the first month and every month afterwards (although it’s not impossible). Even the RollerCoin team encourages new players to NOT spend HOURS on the game… The RollerCoin team would rather have you spend money and purchase the miners. If you are going to spend money, then purchase the event pass as it will give you the most value for you money.
As someone who has been playing for a little over 3 months now, my personal experience and honest opinion is that you DO NOT need to spend money to earn a worthwhile profit on this game. This game will not make you rich, but it will provide you with some fun entertainment as well as give you a small amount of passive income. In total, I have made over $100 USD in 15 weeks. Put some time into the game and be patient (just like when trading in the real crypto world). Accumulate RLT and only purchase miners during the sales.
