RollerCoin is an online, virtual Bitcoin mining game where you can mine cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. It takes the concept of real Bitcoin mining, but instead of the sophisticated Blockchain and processing algorithms, RollerCoin lets you play games to build your mining empire.
The game allows you to build your own virtual data center to generate power. You’ll play fun and addictive mini-games to generate and increase your mining power. The more powerful your miner is, the greater your pool share will be. You’ll play as though you were really mining: Every ten minutes a Bitcoin block is allocated and all active players get a piece of it. Your cut depends on your mining power. You’ll enjoy rewards regardless of how much time and effort you put into the game.
One feature that I have been waiting for anxiously and patiently is the upcoming Marketplace! I can already envision what a masterpiece it will be and how it will change RollerCoin for the better! But unfortunately RollerCoin released an official update in regards to this upcoming feature…
The RollerCoin team announced on their official blog that the highly anticipated RollerCoin Marketplace has been delayed. The reason they state the delay has occurred is due to events taking place Ukraine.
Until when? They have yet to announce how long the delay will be… Season 4 on the other hand will not be delayed and we are expected to hear more news about its release next week.
My opinion on the delay? I am disappointed that this long awaited feature is being delayed AGAIN… BUT I would rather have them delay it then have them release a poor or unfinished product. I’ve played many video games on console in the past where a game or expansion was released too early in order to meet deadlines and it failed disastrously because of it (No Man’s Sky for example). I do not want RollerCoin to fail.
Before ending this post I’d like to mention that if you haven’t already taken a look in the shop then you’ll see that there’s a new Lootbox for a limited time!
If you are someone who does not like playing the mini games to increase your power then this is a good option for you in order to merge your current miners and free up some rack space for future miners! I personally will hold off on purchasing any of these because I enjoy playing these mini games and I’d rather save my RLT.
