RollerCoin is an online, virtual Bitcoin mining game where you compete against other players to mine cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. It takes the concept of real Bitcoin mining, but instead of the sophisticated Blockchain and processing algorithms, RollerCoin lets you test your skills and play games to build your mining empire.
You’ll play fun and addictive mini-games to increase your mining power. The more powerful your miner is, the greater your pool share will be. You’ll play as though you were really mining: Every ten minutes a Bitcoin block is allocated and all active players get a piece of it. Your cut depends on your mining power. You’ll enjoy rewards regardless of how much time and effort you put into the game.
The long awaited season 2 is finally here. After over 12+ hours of maintenance the update is now complete!
So what’s new in Season 2? The event pass has great changes!
The RollerCoin blog says that instead of weekly tasks it has been changed to “Daily Tasks.” This might change in the future? As of right now, it still seems like the tasks are weekly.
The types of tasks also changed, having more precise and detailed missions to complete. Last season you just needed to complete 50 games, then 100 games, and lastly 150. Now the games are specific.
The “invite a friend” task and “Spend 40 RLT in the shop” are supposedly optional and unnecessary… but you still need to complete those tasks if you want the weekly bonus.
The season pass now costs 199.99 RLT compared to last seasons 149.99 RLT. You do however get more value out of this season then you did from the last.
Lootboxes are a completely new addition to the game!
The new lootboxes are essentially a gamble, giving you high stakes of getting exclusive miners and huge portions of RLT. The percentages of acquiring what you want vary and are extremely low.
There are also some balance changes to the mini games, power, and cool down times.
New Cryptocurrency BNB has been added! BNB is becoming fully mineable in RollerCoin, which means that you can switch your mining power up to 100% to BMB and accumulate it.
In the future, Deposits and Withdrawals will be added to the game. As soon as it’s done you will be able to withdraw your accumulated BNB balance and make deposits to the game.
This was a shock as I expected SHIB to be added the game. Maybe in the bit so distant future?
Overall there are a lot of new and exciting changes that have been added and I will be going deeper into these changes and my thoughts in the next few days/weeks.
