RollerCoin is an online, virtual Bitcoin mining game where you compete against other players to mine cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. It takes the concept of real Bitcoin mining, but instead of the sophisticated Blockchain and processing algorithms, RollerCoin lets you test your skills and play games to build your mining empire.
You’ll play fun and addictive mini-games to increase your mining power. The more powerful your miner is, the greater your pool share will be. You’ll play as though you were really mining: Every ten minutes a Bitcoin block is allocated and all active players get a piece of it. Your cut depends on your mining power. You’ll enjoy rewards regardless of how much time and effort you put into the game.
RollerCoin is becoming exponentially even more popular! After reaching over 1.5 million players, and with the success of Season 1, the RollerCoin team doesn’t seem to be slowing down. In just a few days RollerCoin will be releasing Season 2 along with a game changing update for October!
What can we expect from the upcoming RollerCoin update? All we can do is speculate… but we can make educated guesses based on information the RollerCoin team have given us in the past.
New Roller-Marketplace
The RollerCoin team has announced in previous posts that they have been working on a decentralized Roller-Marketplace. This will allow players the ability to finally sell their old miners as well as any new or limited edition miners they may have acquired.
It seems that we will have the option of selling our miners for RLT, BTC, ETH, and I’m assuming DOGE as well, although their post does not specifically mention Dogecoin.
The RollerCoin team also hinted that drops (I’m guessing RLT drops, similar to how they did during their YouTube raffle) and consumables (imagine consumables that can be used to in increase your total mining power) were being implemented into the game. Specifically, RollerCoin users who play mini games will be able to earn rewards (possibly consumables) and then either use them or sell them on the new market! How awesome would that be?
New Season Pass
With the success of Season 1, hopefully Season 2 will be even better! The Season 1 pass benefited both players who purchased the Event Pass as well as those who did not. The cost of 149.99 RLT may be steep but it is an absolute bargain deal! In terms of value, the Event Pass is well worth the price. The miners themselves are valued well over 1,000.00 RLT. In total, all the miners combined will add an additional 1,000+ TH/s to your total power.
Hopefully there will be new weekly quests. Season 1 had the quest to refer a new user EVERY week! While it wasn’t impossible, completing the task was difficult for a majority of players.
New Cryptocurrency
Dogecoin was the latest cryptocurrency brought to RollerCoin. The RollerCoin team have confirmed that they would like to add more cryptocurrencies to mine.
I recall seeing on Twitter that the token SHIBA was the next cryptocurrency to be added. Other RillerCoin users on Social Media have expressed their interest in other popular cryptocurrencies such as LTC, NFT, ETC, and ADA being added. Adding new cryptocurrencies to the game would be great since it would mean more options for the millions of RollerCoin users. Which cryptocurrency would you like to see added to the game?
In Game NFTs
I’m unsure of how the RollerCoin team will implement NFT into the game but it is something that they have hinted at on several occasions.
A RollerCoin themed art contest was held a few months ago and it brought some amazing pieces of art to the table. The artwork could easily be turned into NFTs! The concept seems cool but again I’m not sure how it would be implemented in game.
New Roller Mini-Game
It took nearly 7 months for the RollerCoin team to release their latest game, Token Surfer, after Dr. Hamster was released. It’s now been a full year since then and you would certainly agree that we are due for a new game. RollerCoin gave us a tease if it’s upcoming new mini game which looks similar to a 2D version of Temple Run.
New Skins and Room Decor
The August update brought our first Mining Room skin “the office” to the game.
It’s possible a new skin will be made available for the October update!
I would also bet that there will likely be some new room decor during the next season. All players were able to collect the Gold RollerCoin Season Cup trophy (if they reached level 13) so it would be safe to assume that a new trophy/decor were made available once again.
I would love for a RollerCoin hamster be the next season’s free trophy! Would you be excited if this was added in the next update?
New Miners
You can bet that once again we’ll see some new miners, both limited and regular.
Will Season 2 have Halloween themed miners? A new Jacko-lantern miner like before? Whatever the case, new miners will be welcomed.
There are so many exciting things on the horizon for RollerCoin and I am more than excited for what’s to come. I encourage anyone and everyone to check out RollerCoin for themselves to see why I and millions of other players enjoy it so much. It is by far the funnest way to earn free cryptocurrency.
