Do not Gamble

Even if the house has only 1% advantage over you, you will eventually overextend yourself and lose. It's a fact, so leave while you are ahead and never gamble again. Hundreds of years of social and mathematical science are being used against you to take your money.

Gambling today is a science used against you, the gambler. The faster the bet, the greater the odds you will fail. Take for example the new generation of slot machines and automatic card shufflers that take bets faster than ever before. The more you bet, the greater the odds you will lose. Betting machines are programmed to display "near misses" that entice gamblers to keep betting because they were "so close last time".

Big casinos make millions, and many Including the MGM and Las Vegas Sands are listed on the stock market exchanges. They have huge, luxurious properties. Logically, if they weren't making money off gamblers, would these specticals exist? Or would they be in strip malls? Think about it.

Gambling offers people the fantasy of a quick and easy way out. Have debt? Need a retirement income? Bored? Gambling is a fantasy sold to those who need to solve their problems other ways. Instead of gambling, focus on building a business, your career or a side project. Gambling is destructive to the human spirit in that way. Stop before you lose your spark.
