The head of the trading platform explained why the self-proclaimed Creator of Bitcoin is not who he claims to be
Calling himself the Creator of Bitcoin, Craig Wright shames the crypto industry and undermines people's trust in the cryptocurrency, said the head of the Binance exchange, Changpeng Zhao, in an interview with Cointelegraph. According to him, an Australian scientist cannot be a real Satoshi Nakamoto, because he is "not capable enough"to do this.
"Craig Wright claims to be the founder of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto. That's a lie. It undermines the community's trust in Bitcoin and is a disgrace to our entire industry, " Zhao explained.
He added that if Wright really was the Creator of the cryptocurrency, he could prove it many times and in different ways. For example, sign a message on the Bitcoin network with Satoshi Nakamoto's private key or withdraw coins from your address, Zhao suggested.
On February 17, Craig Wright promised to get control of Bitcoin. The scientist threatened the BTC and Bitcoin Cash networks with legal proceedings for violation of intellectual rights and demanded to stop using "his property".
