"Bitcoin will become worthless"

Trader Peter Brandt explained that reducing the asset price to zero became possible when it fell below $7,500. Anthony Pompliano a partner at Morgan Creek Digital investment company disagreed and compared the first cryptocurrency to gold

The bitcoin exchange rate will fall to zero, said trader and analyst Peter Brandt in his Twitter account. In his opinion, the depreciation of the main digital asset became likely after its rate fell below $7,500.

"All this time, I was convinced that there is a 50% probability that bitcoin will rise in price to $100,000. And a 50% chance that it will fall to zero. Since the bitcoin exchange rate has fallen below $7,500, I'm betting on zero, " Brandt said.

Anthony Pompliano, partner at Morgan Creek Digital investment company, has a different opinion. He believes that the decline in the value of the first cryptocurrency and other digital assets is caused by a lack of capital from investors. This was due to the liquidity crisis in the stock market, the expert explained. He said that a similar situation happened with gold quotes in 2008.

"The same thing happens with bitcoin and gold. There is a liquidity crisis in the market — which is why the asset rate is falling. The same thing happened with gold during the 2008 crisis, " Pompliano wrote on his Twitter account.

On March 12, the head of Euro Pacific Capital, Peter Schiff, said that "the bubble of the first cryptocurrency has burst", talking about the fall in its price to $3800. The trader called bitcoin a sinking ship that "will drag all holders with it to the bottom".
