Hackers have learned to intercept one-time passwords from Google Authenticator and can now access all applications on the phone

A new modification of the Cerberus Trojan virus has been released that intercepts one-time passwords from the Google Authenticator app. Thanks to this, hackers can gain full control over the banking regulations installed on Android, mailboxes and exchange accounts, WinkReport reports.

Clients of cryptocurrency trading platforms, including Coinbase, Binance, Bitfinex, as well as users of cryptopay, Blockchain Wallet, Bitcoin Wallet, and others, are under threat. All of them are in the list of Cerberus virus targets. The full list can be found on the website of the Threatfabric team that detected the malware.

Its representatives said that at the moment the virus has not received wide attention in the "darknet". However, this may happen in the near future, probably, the "Trojan" is still in the testing stage, analysts suggested Threatfabric.
