(Full disclosure, this is similar to a post from about a year ago, just wondering what peoples' thoughts are now.)

I'll be honest, Publish0x is the closest I get to social media these days. Other than following a link to something every once in awhile that ends me up on reddit/twitter/other, I have sworn off social media.  I don't post anywhere other than Publish0x. I haven't been on Facebook in years.  So what is my point?  Well, ironically it is that I wish there was a little more community aspect in Publish0x. Sure you can follow someone, but that is about it.  

Maybe I am missing the point of what Publish0x is about. Could be that the founders just wanted a place for articles and nothing else. I do enjoy the lack of trolls and hate and bitterness that shows up everywhere else. I think I have seen one person say something rude in the comments the entire time I have been here.  So, if that is the sacrifice we have to make...very limited social interaction to keep it "clean," so be it. I would just like a better way to reach out to someone I follow or learn more about them.  

Recently I have found myself coming here less and less and only writing sporadically.  One of my favorite writers has not been around in months and short of commenting on an old article of his, I have no way of finding out where he went.  Just my thoughts, as I did write something earlier and was pondering why I have been coming around less and less.
