I did a little test last month to try and get referrals for Publish0x. I thought I would give a quick rundown of how it turned out. I know you can use tracking IDs, but, I focused on one method only to drive traffic, so I did not use them for this. I actually didn’t start until around May 10th, so I might have done a little better using the whole month.

So, I used Cointiply to get referrals. Before I go any farther, a quick disclaimer on sites like this. I used to travel a lot for work and spent a lot of time in airports. To pass the time I would take random surveys online for rewards. I would never do these surveys outside of airports, as I thought there was much better ways to spend my time, but, they did help give me something to do while waiting for my flights. With this is mind, I gave myself one month to test out Cointiply for the purpose of referrals for Pubish0x. I am no longer using the site to try and gain referrals, so I am offering this tip tp you, free of charge.

If you want to try it, here is how. At the end, I will give you my results, which you can see for yourself on the Ambassadors tab and you can decide if it is worth it.

1. Join Cointiply.
2. Earn points by taking surveys, watching ads or playing games. (You can also just ad crypto to your account and skip all this, but, you will then have put skin in the game)
3. Once you have enough currency on the site (you will only need about 1.30 worth to get started) click on the PTC Ads tab at the top of the page.
4. Click on Create a PTC Ad on the left.
5. Ad your URL (simply go to the Ambassador’s tab on Publish0x and cut and paste. If you want, create a Tracking ID if you are doing multiple runs)
6. Ad a tag line such as: Earn Free Crypto Just By Reading Ads
7. Ad a description, just reuse your tag line, no one is reading this anyway.
8. Click submit for approval. Usually takes about 4-8 hours.
9. Check your stats on Cointiply and Publish0x.
10. If you want to repeat, Cointiply sends you a ten percent discount code for your next ad, every time.

Finally, you can pay extra for the PTC ads to be longer or better targeted. I did not find that the cost of doing this increased the amount of referrals. As you will see from the results, my referrals were pretty high, but, the amount that actually used the site enough to get entered in the monthly Publish0x contest was only about 25 percent. If you want to track your IDs and try a few different techniques, you may find the geo-targeting is worth it.

The Results

In May, I ran ten ads on Cointuply, about half for 20,000 clicks and half for 10,000 clicks. About 15-20 dollars in currency. From this, I got 112 referrals to Publish0x. Of those 112, 29 stayed on the site long enough to show up on the May Ambassador Leaderboard. This was enough to get me tenth place for the month and win 5 dollars. (I had one more trickle in this month, so a few more may still hit the threshold.) The referral payments have not yet covered the cost of the ads, but, with the 5-dollar reward, I think over the next month as they add up, I will come out ahead (if you consider the time I spent on this for educational purposes and not for profit.)

I really like this site and wanted to drive some traffic to it, but, this would probably work for any site that you would like to get some referral credit for. Thanks for reading.
