The Creafree Standard was designed by a standardization expert, Prof. Alain Souloumiac, to free the action of creators and empower them to build a better world.

Free the action of creators
A standard is a private norm providing references to define or evaluate products or services or behaviors. Creafree standard defines references for a complete system describing, claiming, developing, and promoting creations.
Alain Souloumiac is the author of an official report to the government which introduced in France the “reference to standard policy” . This “reference to standard policy” was implemented in Europe between 1985 and 1991 and led to the building of the “Single Market”. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, Alain Souloumiac was appointed as First Legislative Expert to implement this policy in 11 former Communist countries.
Creator of new technologies and author of several patents , he acquired an extended expertise in the field of Intellectual Property. This is the reason why, President Herrmann asked Alain Souloumiac to join him as Special Adviser for Intellectual Property, when he created the Association of European Inventors in 1992. Later on, considering his twenty years’ experience as International Standardization Expert, President Herrmann suggested him to design a sustainable ecosystem in order to open access of intellectual property to all creators in a cost-efficient manner.
He used the experience acquired since 1981 to elaborate the Creafree Standard . The Standard consists of 111 articles’ standard implementing the requirements of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and attached covenants. It implements in particular article 27 of this Declaration that recognizes the moral and material rights of the creators by designing:
- a template for a universal property act,
- a registration and labeling organization,
- the ownership and responsibility of the creators.
- a digital currency to finance creations,
- and a process to authenticate genuine products and services.
The Creafree Standard was registered by an authentic act of Master Muller, Notary at Mulhouse, in 2017 (see Annex 2).
