Our first product, InstarWallet beta, was introduced to help users generate revenue through participation in paid surveys and other activities on our platform. User privacy is maintained in all these activities. Our native token, INSTAR, will serve as the primary mode of exchange in our platform.
Our Inspiration
Data is an essential part of the technological world that we live in. The need for data must always be satisfied to keep daily operations as efficient as possible. As Insights Network, we came up with a solution that allows data seekers to obtain, ethically, data from a vast pool of users representing numerous variables.
Having studied the data market, we discovered that over $200 million worth of data is traded in questionable ways. We also learned that most of the money generated in the industry end up in the hands of big corporations while the data generators- the everyday users- are left with close to nothing. In our research, we also noted a high number of data breaches that made users skeptical of using online services which are meant to make their lives easier.
We were inspired by the challenges users faced in terms of data privacy and decided to create a platform that would address data privacy. Our core values also drove us to create a service that fairly rewards users for the contribution they make through their data. Our goal is to provide masses of individuals and organizations the ability to exchange data in a privacy-preserving and mutually beneficial way!
