Nifty 50
Hi guys hope you are doing great. Let's talk about today's session for Nifty 50 was mildy bullish but largely range-bound, closing at 24252.00, up 20.15 points (+0.08%) from the previous close of 24231.85. Nifty opened at 24284.05, which was also the intraday high, indicating that the index faced selling pressure immediately after the openig. After the early volatility, the index spent most of the session oscillating between roughly 24220 and 24265, showing a lack of strong directional momentum, The 25 advances versus 24 declines indicate almost perfectly balanced market breadth, so today's small gain does not represent a strong broad - based bullish move.
The important observation is that Nifty managed to hold above 24200-24220, which remains the immediate support zone and keeps the short-term structure positive. On the upside, 24285-24300 is the first important resistance, because today's high was 24284.05 and the index could not sustain above it. A decisive breakout and sustained trading above 24300 would strengthen the bullish case and potentially target 24400-24500. Conversely, a break below 24200 would weaken the current structure and could bring 24100-24000 into focus, making PE setups more attractive. For options, i would currently give a slight CE/Long preference, but i would not aggressively buy CE inside the 24220-24285 range because the market is consolidating and the risk of option-premium decay is high.
Overall bias: mildly bullish/CE above 24200, strongly bullish only above 24300, and bearish/PE below 24200; therefore, the best trade is to wait for a breakout rather than force an entry in this narrow range.
