I joined Publish0x back in 2021, right a the peak time of Web 3 Defi where everyone was talking about BTC.

I came across this platform and I was exploring blogging and found out this platforms even rewards to read articles. Team was kind enough to approve me as author after seeing my blogging post and since then my random blogs creation started. I was never regular but whenever I felt typing out my mind I would come back to Publish0x.

Back then crypto blogging felt unstoppable. Few platforms we appearing every month, new coins, communities, NFT, smart contracts, DAO to much to talk about everyone though this is the begging of new web3  changing the internet. I was also riding the same wave.

We all witnessed bull markets, crashes, pump and dump, scam coins, NFT, De-Fi, scams? Platforms getting hacked, meme coins era man there was something to ride everyday.

The lockdown might also be the reason for sudden surge in de-fi but after the lockdown was over the hype started to slowly fade people got busy in their own work. people were publishing articles but not as frequent.

Final nail in the coffin for the blogging sites was the AI revolution the emerge of ChatGPT where any one can create the articles free within seconds. This transformed how people create content and consume.

Since that all these  years, many crypto blogging platforms started to disappear. Some shutdown quietly, some abandoned their communities and some change the entire USP of their sites. 

Simply cause it was not feasible to control the spam, AI slop, bots and reward those who will exploit the site.

But Publish0x stayed, I occasionally though how re they affording to run the website still. I was thinking this might get shutdown sooner or later or just close the reward system. They still found a way to keep it running.

With strict regulations, changes in coins when there was market uncertainty and community support they still even to this day still rewards readers and creators.

I am still surprised how they are able to afford that but this deserves the appreciation.

Today, with AIgenerated content flooding the internet and attention span shrinking everywhere. Publish0x still remains the best site to discover crypto news, opinions and hidden gems.

 I am grateful they allowed to me become author years ago and evermore grateful that its keeping its original spirit alive.
