Poem for the children of the new world

Poem for the children of the new world

I understood the game

when the world was a dark room

and light was a luxury,

and every truth a well-sold farce.

I grew up among lying mirrors,

among teachers who didn’t know how to teach,

among truths that smelled like burning plastic.

And yet I saw the trick,

I saw the hand behind the curtain.

You didn’t.

You were born inside the net,

with eyes that read a thousand worlds in a second,

with hearts beating in megabytes,

with instincts that dodge lies

better than any manual ever written.

I uncovered the illusion.

But you…

you can disintegrate it.

I understood the lie,

but you can rewrite the planet

with a language I don’t know,

with a gesture I can’t yet imagine.

You are humanity’s upgrade,

the patch the system fears,

the glitch that can remake the world.

And if I was smart to survive,

you were born to overturn.

To create a new image,

unprecedented,

unapologetic,

unmastered.

Do what we never had the courage to attempt.

The world is watching you.

The world fears you.

And because of that—

the world is already yours.

Nietzschean reflections on the future of humanity and the sweet tyranny of machines. A fragment a day for those who aren't afraid to think.
