I invite you to interact with everyone, learn, and have as much fun as possible!

For my returning online friends, "It's always great to see you again!"

Awhile, I posted an article about immortality through bio-digital mapping and consciousness uploading technology.

The scientific and medical procedures portrayed in the movie "REALIVE" eerily resemble the same methods prescribed by the real-life consciousness extension company called Nectome.

00456aa8.jpgSource

Similar to the technology in REALIVE, Nectome's technology require the customer to be euthanized - in order to begin the process with a fair amount of the most viable tissues and organs.

See this short clip:

Deterioration is rapid when the brain dies, so the high-tech embalming must begin before cell death occurs.

The process resembles the legal, doctor assisted suicides in California; that is, the special preservation mixture for brain tissue is pumped into the customer's body via the large carotid arteries.

The Co-Founders firmly state that their product is 100% Fatal (meaning: You Can Not "Undo").

A man with a terminal illness has his body frozen and becomes the first man to be resuscitated from cryonics seventy years later in the year 2084.

His on and off again girlfriend is by his side as he commits suicide in order to be cryopreserved. Being an accomplished artist with a design firm under his wing, he cannot stand the randomness of his throat cancer and decides to "go" under his own volition and control.

After his "resurrection" under project "Lazarus", by a company with its own agenda, he starts to question mortality and matters of soul, as well as life as a transition of matter and energy.

After realizing that he only valued his own life under the threat of his imminent death, unable to cope with his new life - feeling trapped in someone else's body - he decides to commit suicide.

Personally, I enjoyed the movie.

But it is not a movie I would recommend watching at night after a frustratingly bad day!

Deeply Polarized Reviews from Viewers

Here's what some of the other viewers said about REALIVE:

(Notice how this movie produced deeply polarized comments.)

krissa patel (5 months ago):

This is the saddest movie I've ever seen, watching it at three in the morning made me cry uncontrollably

ConfusionFusion (5 months ago):

Demonstrate evidence of the soul that's more than an expression of the brain functioning and I'll accept its existence as something more than wishful poetry.

future4seen1 (8 months ago):

Very emotional and philosophical. Great movie if you are in that mood.

Jeff Burris (4 months ago):

"You 'were' an artist, weren't you?" says the doctor to his Frankenstein creation.

sfbmod (4 months ago):

Stupid sad emo very disappointing movie. Obviously meant to just push the political agenda for legalizing self-murder.

Matt Gilbert:

An outstanding, intellectually charged movie, exploring the concepts of life, death, an the dream of living forever, an what that truly means. 4.5/5 stars in my humble opinion, the movie Realive though not an action movie, is a wonderful watch indeed.

S.L. S (4 months ago):

Sorry to say,but I found this movie boring and facile. It seemed like it was written by someone young and immature. Someone who had not yet reached any level of wisdom.

Joy Ferg:

This is a magnificent movie. Thank you.

Mykael David Lazzeri (4 months ago):

How to end this movie in 5 minutes... They would simply give Lazarus MDMA or some newly synthesized substance with less side-effects that puts him in a near perpetual state of euphoria. Done. No more depression and failure-to-thrive issues. It saddens me how limited such movies are. It illustrates the lack of support that true creative vision and intelligence garners in todays pop-intellect culture.

rauno thomas moss (1 month ago):

Very fine movie. It talks with me very closely. Thank for the upload, thank to the actors... the makers of the movie. Thank You!

Rebok Fleetfoot (4 months ago):

good quality upload. movie started out great but somehow i lost interest about half way in...

Jk Nm (2 months ago):

Well I wish I never watched this movie. I thought it would highten my mood not drain it. Someone needs to make a movie showing successful healing.

Robert Stein-Holzheim (2 months ago):

movie would have great potential - if the author wouldn't be a nihilist...

AnjaK:

THIS WAS AN AMAZING MOVIE!!! well written, well played, ... that make's an impact on you as nowadays rare movies do... it makes you question your own life if you are happy, ... what you do every day to be happier and that you have to fulfill your day to it's fullest... and especially make's you value, even more, every second of your life that you have

RAZCOMM (4 months ago):

This movie is loaded with transhumanism delusions and immorality normalized

SUSAN MASSEY (3 months ago):

Good movie with many provoking deep thoughts. Plus Tom Hughes is a great British Actor, keep your eyes on this guy.

John Ward:

I am normally a happy person but after watching this movie I cried for three hours. It was so sad!!

Luca (5 months ago):

Great movie in all aspects. On the story plot: although the philosophical and psychological considerations the main character makes throughout the entire story, he's like trapped into ingenuity, weakness and egocentrism. It's anyway a good movie to stimulate the discussion, or personal introspection.Every one in this world should sooner or later get to face the meaning of life and the constraints, that is normally called maturity. This guy was clearly not, being always out of synch. Deeper considerations have required the entire history of philosophy and religious deceits.

Paul Smith (3 months ago):

What a load of rubbish... technology CANNOT bring back the soul into the body!

reggie gimmix (3 weeks ago (edited)):

thought it looked a bit dodgey at the start but then turned into a very good movie... excellent acting and storyline... why haven't I heard of this movie ?... should be more recognised. Very well made piece of Sci-Fi. Throws up many questions about mortality and morality.

Alvin Anderson:

Boring science fiction for the young snobs making thousands a week and destroying our country in their wake. Definitely for rich, white, young people only. As much soul as a loaf of wonder bread and ten times the whiteness. They could fix it by going to the very end and having the sobbing hero turn into a brain eating zombie and starting a world apocalypse but they be just toooooo white and spoiled. Total exercise is ego masturbation by the young and the 'entitled'. If only more of them could suddenly come down with cancer today before we all die in their selfishness.

Ronald Prier (4 months ago):

Extremely well done. Thought provoking without resorting to the cheap thrills so pervasive in the more commercial action movies. Excellent casting, screenplay and cinematography make for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

AIG ™ (3 months ago):

WTF....... the movie is great n' all but.... I'm never watching shit this deep ever again

Believing that school was too boring, he dropped out of High School early; only to earn an AA, BS and MBA in less than 4 years much later in life – while working full-time as a Navy/Marine Corps Medic.

In spite of a fear of heights and deep water, he performed high altitude, free-fall parachute jumps and hazardous diving ops in deep, open ocean water.

After 24 years of active duty, he retired in Asia.

Since then, he's been a full-time, single papa and actively pursuing his varied passions (Writing, Disruptive Technology, Computer Science and Cryptocurrency - plus more hobbies too boring or bizarre for most folk).

He lives on an island paradise with his teenage daughter, longtime girlfriend and three dogs.
