How many of us have experienced the frenzy and later, the disappointment of trying to shuffle around funds in time to seize an opportunity whose window is closing fast; only to be "too little, too late"?
I'd guess every trader has done this at least once or twice, no?
After years of hard knock lessons (aka hundreds of missed opportunities), I've become a firm believer in having sufficient funds in place well beforehand; that is, "Standing By Ready To Assist".
It's like having your own 24/7 SpecWar Unit for Recon or Rescue.
