Hey everyone! Today lets talk about a few of my favorite platforms!
What is Mithril?
Mithril is a crypto asset that is a reward for using apps like PiePie and Yeemos. Mithril is unique because it allows a user to mine social content, even their own content. It has the familiar look of snapchat and TikTok, so users that has experience in either app will transition well to new app. Today we will be focusing on solely PiePie.
Look and feel--ease of use
(pictured above is screenshot from my tablet that demonstrates what the home landing page looks like. As you can see there are various topics at top: All, Gourmet (for foodies), Unboxing (new products, phones, pc), animals (this is one of my daughters and I favorites, come here to see cute animals), talent, beauty concludes the lists).
There is a wide variety of topics and generally content to keep you occupied for hours really. I use this app with my two year old daughter to watch funny cat videos and take seemingly random photos of us, preserving our life on a blockchain. I hope oneday I can turn the keys over to her as a retirement or college fund.
How it works
So when I upload a video or story, I am weighed upoon views and likes. Naturally the more views and likes you get the more you earn. Growing a base is pretty simple, just make sure you are posting organic content (comes from you) and the content is quality. After so many views and likes you end up on the "hot" (default landing page) section. Watching this section is sometimes interesting to watch to learn about different people and places.
Once you earn Mithril you can elect to stake it. Staking Mithril expedites your earning potential. PiePie has taken the care to integrate a wallet called "Vault" into their easy to use apps. (see pictured below). Another interesting and cool point is that inside Vault you can shift (internally, as in no sending to shapeshift or changelly) to different assets like: BTC,BNB, ETH. Making it light weight and easy to use.
Why Mithril is unique and unlike other social networks
Mith is unique because many merchants are electing to use this asset as a form of payment. That is the main driver in this section. It has a purpose. In many of the crypto social networks you just earn, then go through the painstaking process of transferring and then selling and then another transfer. The development community have really thought about this and made Mith ready to use as is with merchants, or allows other users to shift to other currencies within the Vault.
This two fold prong makes the social network very easy to use as well as very secure. As you can see in the picture above you can connect your facebook account and your telephone number. By doing this it enhances your experience as well as heightened security for the user.
