Today' Lets dive into the world of ICO/IDO's.
CoinMarketCap has a calendar of upcoming new projects that are raising funds to launch new projects on different blockchains, usually Decentralized Exchanges, but they launch everything from marketplaces to NFT based games.

What Does the Website Look Like, and How Do I Navigate It?
In the photo below, you can see (1.) where to select the ecosystem/network where different projects are being launched,
and (2.) the Stage the project is in, when it will end and the Goal of investment they need to get off the ground.
This is a good resource for anyone looking to be a part of a project from the ground up.
While some of the projects require a lot of involvement in the community to be able to access a whitelist or possible airdrop for promoting the project; the majority of the IDO/ICO's behave similar to any ICO where they are looking for a contribution in exchange for a premarket purchase of the projects native coin that will be airdropped to your wallet address upon the lunch of the project.
So, Let's Take a Look at One of The Listing.
Below ill discuss a couple of import items to check out when you select a current listing.
(1.) CoinMarketCap will include a link to the website for the project, this is a good way to get a first impression of what the project is trying to achieve, what they have in mind for future development, and who the developers are.
(2.) It's always a best practice to read the whitepaper for any project before investing to understand what utility and future the project might have. They should also have a road map and other use-cases for what the project will accomplish and when.
(3.) They also include a few different links that will summarize third party information and consolidate third party links that have more relevant information and data on the project.
(4.) This is where they specify the duration the project is open for investment, and specifically how many hours or days are remaining.
Overall, CoinMarketCap is a well-organized multifaceted crypto resource where anyone can find access to upcoming ICO and much more.
