How to repair a dell charger (all what you need to know)

Good morning Publishox community, i brought you a method of repairing dell computer charger.

A customer bring a dell charger to my office to repair and he complain that the charger indicate light when he plug it to electric light but not charging his system and as a certified engineer i am, i first plug in the charger to electricity light and i discover that the charger indicate light but not charging the system.

i take second step, i plug the charger back again to electricity light and i read the charger with meter and the positive side give me 19.54 Volt and the neutral side gives 0.004 whereas the neutral suppose to give me 14 - 15 volt.

i take the third step, try to loose the charger and i discover that the transistor beside the indicator light as burn already and the volt of the transistor is 250

i now look for the transistor volt 2501 and replace it back by using soldering iron.
lastly i couple the charger back and it start charging the system
