Just two days ago I had a post expressing my disgrace towards CBDCs and why I see these becoming the future of money, rather than the cryptocurrencies that we'we all expected. One significant impediment for BTC for example to be accepted as a world wide currency and form of payment is of course volatility.
The USD, EUR or whatever else currency of this world you might think of is volatile as well to some extent, but not at the level of cryptocurrencies. It was never planned for the world governments to accept BTC as a form of payment, the way I see it, and it will probably never be, thus we get to see all sort of news regarding CBDCs from countries all over the world popping like Bitcoin is dead types of news. For the moment no country has yet introduced them as real life money, but it won't be long before China will do that.
EURO will have its CBDC as well as announced by U.today and although there is no launch date or time frame for its release into the pokets of the Europeans, Christine Lagarde, President of The European Central Bank has it already on talks in a public consultation. The future of cash is right around the corner and it's not crypto...
Cash will for sure go extinct and probably most of you were already aware of that, but at the same time many have probably still hopes for some sort of crypto, why not BTC, to become the future of money. And why wouldn't that happen? Because the governments don't want that, or should I say the crooked bankers that are puppeting the governments. They don't have to ban Bitcoin or try in any way in destroying it, but on the contrary, they're using it for their own purposes.
Stack as much as possible, publicly and behind doors as well, use it as a store of value and high valuable asset of the future and throw at the plebs their own CBDCs shouting that this is the digital money we were all waiting for, clean and COVID-19 free. Digital currencies that have nothing to do with privacy, financial freedom, decentralization...etc, etc. Pretty much nothing that Satoshi Nakamoto has planned for the future of money is becoming a reality. CBDCs are the future of money though and there's nothing we can do about it...
