Two and a half years ago when I found about Steem, a spark of hope ignited in me... The idea of blogging was challenging, because I wasn't blogging before my first post on Steemit, but having the thought of earning real money through my inclination for writing and quite strong attraction towards technology meant that I could finally monetize the blending of the two, and of course earn cryptocurrencies.
Soon after I started this looong journey I realized that I won't be a crypto tech journalist, not even on the old chain, and that the revenue for my blogging activity took several months... quite many I'd say, to be able to buy myself a pair of sneakers, with the tokens earned... Talk about paying bills or vacations. I still felt like I owned a gem in my pocket though, and how right was I, having my blog at hand and being connected with the blockchain almost daily it sure made a difference in giving value to my time spent online.
It was crystal clear that the era of the internet money had come and I can still remember that I was talking with a good friend of mine on the phone once, almost two years ago, and I was telling him at that time that somehow... crypto will make possible to monetize even the act of shitting at the bathroom. Quite a metaphor right... I still haven't got to the point of living of crypto tbh, but I can say that my investments have somehow paid, pointing in here not only to the fiat ones, but to time, energy and effort as well.
Recently though I read a news that mister Bill Gates, a person not dear at all to me, has a plan... One that would make it possible for the human body to mine cryptocurrencies. Yes you read it right, somehow my vision of earning money while shitting is on the verge of becoming a reality. The way one would earn crypto thanks to mister Gates patent is not what I would call the perfect vision for making internet money though.

Just after reading the first paragraph the first thing that came to my mind was a rat maze. Give him a track and a finish line, let him sweat, and then...if it manages to get to the finish line, reward him. Keep him connected non stop to a so called server all the time though so you can have him under control every minute...
Fuck you Bill Gates, that's not my type of earning/mining crypto. I prefer using my brain and my skills to do so, and not sell my body for that, not a hooker you know. Hive might have not fulfilled my dreams, neither my monthly/yearly bear necessities to be honest, but it has a "non intrusive potential" to do it.
MicrosoftS diabolical crypto mining patent is just another way of mass surveillance and mass control tool. Again, fuck you Bill Gates and here's why I'm saying this for the second time in a less than thousand words post.

Yours truly nailed this prediction as well, and was talking about that soon after the plandemic started... Meanwhile, happy with my type of mining on this blockchain and satisfied that I now have time to put out two posts a day, and earn some crypto on the way. The more, the better. Who knows... maybe one day this type of activity will pay my bills, traveling and leisure time.
