Many still remember the terrible flood that occurred in Feni district in 2024. People's homes, crops, and livestock were all washed away by the water current. Many lost everything and spent their days under the open sky. The wounds of that flood have not yet healed from the people's wounds, and in the meantime, there is a fear of another flood in Feni in 2025.

Due to the continuous heavy rains of the last few days, water has accumulated up to the waist in various areas of Feni. Water has entered many low-lying areas and submerged houses. People's transportation has been extremely difficult. Small children are unable to leave their homes, and it has become difficult to go to school and college. Farmers are worried because the paddy and vegetables in their fields are drowning in water.

The devastating floods of 2024 caused widespread damage in various parts of Bangladesh. People's homes, croplands, livestock, and fish projects were submerged in water. Large fish were released from old ponds, enclosures, and projects and spread across canals, beels, rivers, and roads.

At such a time, many people started fishing on the streets or high places with nets, traps, and hooks to earn a living. Even in the midst of the disaster, a kind of festive atmosphere was created, with some walking in the water, some fishing, and some standing by.

I myself made a video at that time that showed the scene of local people fishing. The fish floating in the flood water is like a ray of hope even in the midst of the loss.
