I have had a thought for a few years now, could dividend paying tokens alleviate third world poverty, redistribute the wealth and change the world?
You see for hundreds or even thousands of years, the common man or the poor man was not able to invest in the rich mans businesses. He was never privy to the on goings behind closed doors where these millionaires make all the decisions.
Even in modern times, to invest in the stock market was a difficult and expensive thing to do. Perhaps it was certainly possible for the middle class American to do this, although what about people in developing nations?
What about someone who wanted to only invest $10.. Because $10 to him is lots of money?
Now with blockchain technology, someone from Africa with little money could invest his $10 into a viable business such as Binance lending.
This user could earn a decent % of profit for their investment, automatically and anonymously.
Blockchain adoption is increasing in Africa, and they are certainly willing to work hard to make money using the various blogging platforms, airdrops, coin faucets and other ways to get free coins.
This money can be used to purchase shares in many types of businesses, and dividend payouts can be sent automatically to Africa.
Currently all of the profit generated from the multinationals, the Facebooks and the Microsoft's - this is all staying in the hands of the wealthy. With blockchain these profits can be shared with the developing nations and specifically the people in those nations.
With millions of people in poorer countries earning dividend profits from online businesses.. this my friends can, in my humble opinion change the world and alleviate third world poverty.
