What is it used for, how and why?

What is it used for?

Well, it is used for creating the skeleton of a website.

The actual structure. That means, you have to learn it.

Without this you wouldn't be able to create anything.

It's a foundation.

I hope I'm being solid enough here.

How is it used?

It is used just like this.

Just like I write this blog, you will write the HTML code.

Ahh, I almost forgot.

HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language.

Quite long eh?

It is basically english with fancy symbols such as:

• <>
• /

You just put some words inside these things <like> this and close the tag </like> this.

And now you got yourself first HTML TAG that doesn't exist.

Why is it... used?

Because we have nothing better.

Yes, it's sad I know.

*sad programmer noises*
