Calling all Farmers, Content Creators and Artists! We need your craftiness and brilliant minds to spruce up the place here at Harvest Finance so we are unleashing the Creativity Contest, a competition where one and all can show their love for Harvest Finance !
First and foremost, thank you to everyone who participated in Harvest Finance's first ever meme contest. There were a TON of dank memes submitted to the contest, so much so that the team had to hire someone just to go through them all. As a result 10 winners were awarded over 40 FARM tokens (over $3,200 at time of this article) and are hopefully putting their hard earned tokens to work for them on the farm. You guys worked for your FARM, now let your FARM work for you ! 
The winners were announced on Sunday in the Harvest discord server.
As a result of the overwhelming number of submissions by our humble farmers, the Harvest team has decided to expand the contest and offer prizes the likes of which no platform has previously even considered. We are talking about a full on cornucopia FULL of those coveted FARM tokens for creating anything FARM related. Now it's OK if you are not a master meme maker, you can still get rewarded. Make a video, write an article, dress up like chad, create some cool harvest merch, compose a haiku...in short, get creative. We want to see what you guys can come up with so we decided to massively expand the prize pool to over $12,000 in rewards.
Again, anyone and everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us - the more creativity the better. Also again, if you guys have not checked out the APY's and farming strategies lately, check out the Harvest Finance wiki . The Harvest team continues to innovate and offer the latest and greatest farming opportunities. Just as an example, the team had a UNI token farming strategy out the day after the token itself came out which farms and sells UNI saving its farmers time and gas money. They are putting out new strategies at an impressive pace that is unrivaled by any other project out there today and offering some seriously competitive financial tools.
The prizes/rules for the meme contest round two will largely remain the same and are as follows :
1st Place - $1,500 in FARM tokens
2nd Place - $1,200 in FARM tokens
3rd Place - $800 in FARM tokens
4th and 5th place - $600 in FARM tokens
6th through 10th - $450 in FARM tokens
11th through 20th - $300 in FARM tokens
and 21st through 50th place all receive $100 in FARM tokens.
How our humble farmers should submit their entries :
Submissions will ONLY be accepted via twitter. To be included in the contest tweet your submissions, tag @harvest_finance and include #BreadForThePeople
Submissions close 1pm UTC on Wednesday, October 7th
At that time the team will select dive into all the submissions and pick the 50 winners.
The Harvest Finance team will select the final winners based on overall creativity and effort - so do something different and fresh to catch their attention.
Winners will be announced on Friday, October 9th and prizes will be distributed over the weekend.
