If you are brand new to this nft thing , an nft stands for Non-Fungible Token. NFTs are not like money,  they are unique. For example one nft can be worth a lot of money  because they are different values. In this article I am going to tell you step by step how to create and sell a nft.

NFTs can be a picture , an audio  or a video. It is not necessarily fancy artwork , no it is not. So if you want to get paid or want royalties for your artwork , this is what you should do. The very first thing you should understand is basically when you are going to create your NFT , it is very important to select a market place. You should choose the market that has the most eyes , the best market places I suggest are OpenSea https://opensea.io/ and Rarible https://rarible.com/  . Those are the two most popular markets. Well all these websites promise you that everything is free listing , you are not going to pay anything. But the thing is , there is something called ‘GAS’. Gas is a fee . So when you create an NFT through ethereum, they are going to charge you a ‘gas’.  It is usually $70 - $400. There is a lot of paying throughout the process of selling your NFT but if you are super broke there is a free way to do this. 

So creating this and selling it for free will be through Polygon and also Flow Blockchain. All this will have restrictions meaning  you won’t be able to make a whole collection  of your NFTs or have auctions. It’s more limited. So let’s get to this step by step. So firstly you need to have a crypto wallet e.g a coinbase wallet account https://coinbase.com/join/u631?src=android-link or MetaMask account https://metamask.io/ Once you are finished creating it , you also need to create a marketplace account whether it is OpenSea or Rarible. After creating the accounts, go to the preferred marketplace account, let's say OpenSea . On OpenSea , go to 'create', upload the NFT you want to sell , fill in all the details of your NFT . Then on the Blockchain section click 'Polygon' or in Rarible click 'Flow Blockchain'. Then fill in the rest of the details then you are good to go.
