One down, one to go.

SEC General Counsel Dan Berkovitz is leaving after too many cozy nights with SBF and lots of exposure to FTX.

Now that is great but we all know that the real evil genius in this story was SEC chair Gary Gensler, his position is very much impacted by the FTX implosion.....still, this guy does not seem to start packing his bags.

Now I wonder if Gary is still invited to have a nice vegan Christmas dinner with his old pal Daddy Banman Fraud? Because they are gonna have a party over there this year. You never know when it´s gonna be your last time to play League of Legends Sammy boy.

In reality, it of course matters little if the whole SEC gets replaced, I think they still feel they need to kill crypto so we might get different faces with the same message.

But having Gensler leave might spark some positive although it will probably not last, just like the Santa Claus Rally that never came. I don´t know where they got that one from, but if I look at the chart. A chart that is so bullish and only sees BTC moving up half of the time, I stop believing in Santa right away.

A cold and Lonely Christmas

Trust me this is gonna be a cold and lonely Christmas without rally.
A painful one with us thinking, Last Christmas you sold me your bags, and the very next year I am holding them still.

And we are gonna keep holding! As the next Bitcoin halving is just 495 days away and we all know that BTC usually bottoms around 517-547 days before.

Just thinking, was when did we hit 15.5K, on the 28 of November which is 25 days ago 495+25 = 520 putting us right in the middle of that average period.

I say the bottom is in, I can´t believe it, I don´t think it´s right but a year from now I can say I called the bottom and maybe I was even right.

Anyway, it does not matter, even if that was the bottom 2023 will be mainly about consolidation. That means it will be even worse than 2022.

Especially for me, because I love the volatility and if there is something we will not get in 2023 it will be that. A slow and steady rebuilding between 15 and 30K all year long. That is what you get from Santa, your most boring year in crypto.
