It seems, or Seams there is a new kid on the block and it looks like a retro kid if you ask me. I got that whole dial-up vibe straight away and guess that says a lot about me.
It says I was there when Fakebook started, and even before, and that I truly don´t give a F anymore if there is no crypto involved. My FB is so dusted my granny's X is cleaner.
I do use Torum and I love the community but I do lack My space a bit over there.
And I do love HIVE but I can not dress it up showcasing my latest creations.

For me, that is all I need, my virtual life on a Page.

Well, I did not waste time deep diving into the project but it seems they raised $2.500.000 to get this thing off the ground. And there will be a Seam airdrop but its token is probably not $SEAM as it seems they are unrelated. So don´t join for the money just yet. On the other hand, if you want to make something in that airdrop participate by getting points for Quests:
I don´t think it will make me the 6K that joining Torum made me last bull run, but you gotta be in it to win it... and at least I like my wall.

What I don´t like is the HomePage Wall, as there is no Dark Mode just like back in the Myspace days.
And absolutely anyone can post here, meaning all bored monkeys with a keyboard can vomit the lack of creativity on the HomeWall.
Oh and don´t use Brave, at this stage they are not supporting Brave so Chrome is the preferred browser. But the APP seems to come soon:
Now there are two more good things.
The simplicity of posting a vid, link, audio, or whatever and the BLOCK YOU option:
I get the open wall set up as there are many friendless people joining and this way you get to know each other, and the see-only friends function will probably come soon. But I have been blocking my baby butt off already.
Bikini Bottom Line
Will it take off?
Without a crystal ball, no one knows, but I like the simplicity and the options provided enough to try it out. On the other hand, if I like it, it probably won´t.
The timing is good, riding the wave up allows a not-so-good project to do wonderful things. I might not be into showcasing my NFTs on My Wall or My Wallets holdings but you can.
If you are in it for the money, you might want to wait a bit or enjoy being really early because several questions are outstanding.
On the other hand, I learned it pays to be early, it allows you to shape the platform and get in on the early deals.
