This morning when I woke up, the price of ETH almost hit $3500 but this is something that is very likely to happen by tomorrow. At the moment that I am writing this article - the price is $3370 and I am expecting it to be higher by the time I finish this post. :)

If you look at the chart, you will see that Eth had it's ups and downs in the past - but it has always persisted to peak even higher. The 'big boy' is becoming stronger everyday. Many people might be waiting for a 'dip' to buy more and I have a strange feeling that it won't dip below $3000. But this is just what I think.

The price increase has been attributed to an increase in the number of developers creating decentralized finance/ Defi applications on the Ethereum platform. These application are mostly blockchain-based financial service providers who provides services such as lending - this allows the user to somehow bypass banks or brokerage fees.
