New Jersey Devils - Buffalo Sabres

The Sabres looks a lot better after changing coach. They are still not a great team, but at least they can put up a fight against the other teams. The Devils just traded away Zajac and Palmieri to the Islanders. I think they will actually miss Zajac the most, even though Palmieri is the bigger name. I expect a close game, but the Sabres looked like the better team the last time they met. I'll go with them here. Buffalo wins!

Philadelphia Flyers - New York Islanders

Philly have rejuvenated themselves I think. They are starting to look decent again. The Islanders have added a couple of new players, but I can't see them play tonight. The previous meetings have yielded three wins each. I think it will be a close game, a really hard battle. But I think the Islanders are better right now, and that they have the best chances. So, New York Islanders wins!

Pittsburgh Penguins - New York Rangers

The Pens have dominated the Rangers this season, winning five of seven games. The New Yorkers have been a lot better lately than they were in the beginning of the season though. Both teams are in good form, and it's hard to call this one. But I feel that the guys from the Big Apple have had some really impressive performances lately, so I will go with them. New York Rangers wins!

Boston Bruins - Washington Capitals

The Bruins have won every other game for quite a while now, and they won their last one. Will the trend continue? They've won two against the Caps this season, and lost two. I feel the Capitals are the better of the two though. It's close, it could go either way, but I have a clear top dog here. Washington wins!

Florida Panthers - Carolina Hurricanes

The Panthers have been great this season, but against the Canes, they have lost four out of five. And it's in these games against the other top teams that they will feel the loss of Ekblad the most. I expect a close game, but I think that the Hurricanes have the best chance here. Carolina wins!

Tampa Bay Lightning - Columbus Blue Jackets

The Bolts have struggled lately, losing five in their last seven. And they've not done too well against Columbus either. But they have a super strong roster, and they must be pissed by now, and i think the Jackets will have to take a beating here. Tampa Bay wins!

Winnipeg Jets - Montreal Canadiens

The Jets have their captain out with a suspected concussion. I heard Wheeler has just missed six games since the team moved from Atlanta! That's some major consistency. So how will they deal with this injury? Wheeler isn't just a points producer, he's also an important leader to the team. The loss will be felt for sure! Meanwhile, the Habs have looked really good after their covid hiatus. I wouldn't be too concerned about their loss against the Leafs. Everyone loses to Toronto right now. I think they are the hotter team, and I think they have a good chance here. Montreal wins!

Edmonton Oilers - Ottawa Senators

So, I made a mistake in my last post. I said that last night's meeting was the last one between these two. Well, this actually is. And the Oilers are still maintaining a perfect run against the Senators, eight wins in eight games. I don't forsee any change tonight. Edmonton wins!

Nashville Predators - Detroit Red Wings

While the Red Wings have some great results lately, and while they managed to force Nashville to a shootout the other night, I just can't go with them here. I won't count them out, they have proven that they can beat anyone, but the Predators are in the driver's seat here. Nashville wins!

Dallas Stars - Chicago Blackhawks

Must-win game for both teams. The Blackhawks won the previous meeting the other night. Both teams are very much up and down from night to night, so it's hard to call this one. It could go any way, but I think the Stars will be eager for some revenge. Dallas wins!
