So, the Sabres have looked a lot better after changing coach, and getting Ullmark back. But they are still a total underdog against a way better Caps team. Washington wins!

Pittsburgh Penguins - New Jersey Devils

Pittsburgh came up with an impressive win agains the Rangers last night. The Devils beat the Sabres, which doesn't have the same ring to it. While the Devils can't be counted out in any game, the Pens just look too good right now to dismiss. Pittsburgh wins!

New York Rangers - New York Islanders

The battle of NYC! Two hot teams with very different playing styles. A derby like this tends to turn into a gritty game, and I feel that's a narrative that don't fit the Rangers as well as their counterparts. Islanders wins!

Minnesota Wild - St Louis Blues

The Wild are flying and the Blues are struggling. It's two really good teams, so I expect a good game, but I have to make St Louis the underdog here. Minnesota wins!

Arizona Coyotes - Vegas Golden Knights

Vegas should be winning this, but they have struggled to score lately. The Coyotes are on a good run, but it's been mostly games against the teams from California. This is actually a hard one to call. But I feel this is the right kind of game for the Golden Knights to bounce back in. Vegas wins!

Colorado Avalanche - Anaheim Ducks

So, this should only go one way. It's not guaranteed to end as supposed, but I'd put a lot of eggs in this basket. Colorado wins!

Los Angeles Kings - San Jose Sharks

The Sharks are the hotter team, and they've dominated the Kings this season. I expect a close game, but I have to give the Sharks some edge here. San Jose wins!
