Buffalo Sabres - Philadelphia Flyers

The Sabres are doing better since Ullmark came back from injury. Like, a lot better. They have a pretty even record when he's playing, and 1-18 when he's not. Philly is back after a time of struggles though, and they are a much better team. While I won't count out Buffalo here, the Flyers should be able to get the result here. And they need to, if they want to have a shot at making the playoffs. Philadelphia wins!

Arizona Coyotes - Vegas Golden Knights

Vegas have a strong record against the Coyotes this season. After a bit of a downturn, I think they are trending in the right direction again. The Yotes are fighting for that last playoff spot, and I expect them to play a desperate game, but will that be enough? Maybe, but probably not. Vegas wins!

Colorado Avalanche - Anaheim Ducks

So, the Avs really should be too good for the Ducks. Colorado wins!

Pittsburgh Penguins - New Jersey Devils

The Pens are playing really well at the time. While the Devils get a win here and there also against the top teams, they are the crystal clear underdog. Pittsburgh wins!

New York Rangers - New York Islanders

Another derby. The Rangers won this matchup the other night. I don't think the Islanders will accept losing again though, and they have the tools to win such a game. I expect a very close game. It could go either way, but I have to pick a team, and then I pick - New York Islanders wins!

Washington Capitals - Boston Bruins

A heavyweight matchup between two giants. The Bruins are in a bit of a pinch. After losing to the Flyers, they are feeling the heat in the playoff race. I expect this game to be very close and competitive. It's very hard to pick out a winner. I feel the Caps are the better team right now, so I'll hand a slight edge to them. Washington wins!

Dallas Stars - Nashville Predators

The Stars are very much up and down. Their win against the Panthers last night was very impressive. They tend to mix such performances with very bleak ones though. The Predators were amazing against Tampa last night. They lost the game to Vasilevsky, who just refused conceding goals, but they actually outplayed the Bolts. This game could go either way depending on who Dallas decides to be, Jekyll or Hyde, but with the form the Preds have shown, I think they have the best chance. Nashville wins!
