There are 5 NHL games tonight:

Let's have a look at them!

Carolina Hurricanes and Florida Panthers are both steaming hot. The Panthers' results against Tampa Bay are really impressive. I think Carolina have been even stronger though, so they are my winner, but this is a close one to call.

Toronto Maple Leafs lost the last game against a rejuvenated Otttawa Senators team. The latter have really looked a lot better the last few games. I think Toronto will take revenge this time though. They are my winner.

Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks were both rated among the worst teams in the league before the season. Both have been better than expected. Especially Chicago, who are fighting for a playoff spot. Who would have thought, when Crawford left, and both Toews and Dach came up with long term injuries before the season even started? The last game was very close but I think Chicago will win again.

Calgary and Vancouver had a tough battle in their last game. Vancouver has really stepped up the last few games, and has been the better team. Calgary won last time, much thanks to the outstanding Jacob Markström. But will it be him who plays tonight? Or is it Rittich? I think this is the deciding factor for the outcome of this game. When Markström plays, Calgary are amazingly hard to score against. But I doubt Calgary can risk not playing Markström, so I say they win.

Winnipeg Jets beat Edmonton oilers last time, in a battle between two even teams, where one has way better goaltending. I think this will decide in favor of the Jets tonight. Winnpeg are my winners!

In summary, my picks for tonight's winners: Carolina, Toronto, Chicago, Calgary, Winnipeg.
