New Jersey Devils - Boston Bruins
While the Devils have been way better this season than I had expected, Boston has just been too good. No debate, Boston wins.
New York Rangers - Philadelphia Flyers
The Rangers just lack their mojo this season. But the Flyers have been up and down. In the end, I have to give it to the Flyers though.
New York Islanders - Pittsburgh Penguins
This is a tough one to call! The Islanders always play close games, and so does the Penguins. I favor Pittsburgh, but it could go either way.
Nashville Predators - Columbus Blue Jackets
Nashville has just been below meh this season. Columbus has been up and down, but mostly up since Laine and Roslovic arrived. Columbus wins this one!
Ottawa Senators - Toronto Maple Leafs
Ottawa were close last night. They have been playing way better than before, for these last few games. But in the end, I just have to put my faith in Toronto in this game.
Buffalo Sabres - Washington Capitals
Buffalo are not to be taken for an easy opponent this season. But I think the Capitals will be too much. Washington wins!
San Jose Sharks - St Louis Blues
San Jose misses Erik Karlsson. But how much do they miss him? He's just not back to his true self from the good days of old. But Karlsson or no Karlsson, the Blues are just too good for the Sharks. St Louis wins!
Los Angeles Kings - Arizona Coyotes
Arizona played some very impressive games against St Louis. Now they are facing a far easier task, and I think they are up for it. There's been quite a lot of negative press lately, but I don't think that will get to the players. Arizona wins!
Minnesota Wild - Anaheim Ducks
Minnesota has won most of the games they "should" win. This is one of those games. You never know with Gibson, he could steal any game for the Ducks. But most likely, this is a win for the Wild!
