Lots of games today and tonight! Here are my winners!
New York Rangers - New Jersey Devils
The Rangers dominated the Devils last time they met. I think it won't be at easy this time, but I think they will grab a win here too. New York wins!
Buffalo Sabres - New York Islanders
The Islanders have won all the games agains the Sabres this season. Buffalo are struggling in general right now. Easy pick, New York wins!
Philadelphia Flyers - Pittsburgh Penguins
This is a very even matchup that can go either way, but I think the better team is the Flyers. Philadelphia wins!
Florida Panthers - Nashville Predators
The Predators have been playing better lately, but I still have to go with the Panthers here. They are having a fantastic season! Florida wins!
Winnipeg Jets - Montreal Canadiens
Winnipeg have won all three meetings with Montreal. While they have been close games, I think the Jets are the better team, and I'll give them the best chance here. Winnipeg wins!
Toronto Maple Leafs - Vancouver Canucks
Toronto are fantastic this season. One of the best teams in the league! Vancouver have played better and better lately, and they managed to get a win against Toronto last game. But I think the Leafs will bounce back and grab the win here. Toronto wins!
Minnesota Wild - Arizona Coyotes
The Wild are one of the teams that have overachieved this season, and they don't look like they intend to stop. They won the first meeting yesterday clearly, and I think they will be the better team again tonight. Minnesota wins!
Columbus Blue Jackets - Dallas Stars
Two struggling teams facing off again. I think the Jackets are the better team right now, so I'll give them the best chance, but this could go either way. But I have to pick one, and then I say - Columbus wins!
Anaheim Ducks - Colorado Avalanche
The Ducks managed to grab a point last night, but I don't see them doing that again. The Avs are just a better team. Colorado wins!
St Louis Blues - Los Angeles Kings
Close game last night, that the Blues won in overtime. The Kings have really been a positive surprise this season, and they could very well win here, but I can't give them the better chance. St Louis wins!
Calgary Flames - Edmonton Oilers
This is a hard one to gague. The Flames fired their coach the other day. They struggled in a couple of the games against Ottawa, but they won the last one, and looked good. The Oilers destroyed Calgary the last couple of times they met, but what's their state after getting hammered by Toronto for 3 straight games? They struggled to even get the puck in the net at all! I feel this could go either way, but the Oilers are probably the better team. So... Edmonton wins!
Vegas Golden Knights - San Jose Sharks
Vegas rested Fleury in net in the game last night between the two, and that nearly cost them. San Jose managed to steal a point, but tonight, Fleury should be back, and I don't think there's more to grab here for the Sharks. Vegas wins!
