Chicago Blackhawks - Carolina Hurricanes
The Canes are running away with the first place in the division, and even possibly towards the President's Trophy. You know, that cursed things that tend to mean you don't win the Stanley Cup. The Hawks could put up a fight, but I don't expect them to quite be enough here. Carolina wins!
New York Rangers - Boston Bruins
The Rangers are probably both tired and bruised after last night's brawl against the Caps. The Bruins have a strong trend, and should be able to take advantage here. Boston wins!
New Jersey Devils - New York Islanders
There's no doubt who's the underdog here. The Devils have only won one of the previous meetings, and they are struggling ever since the trade deadline, even though they've won a few games lately. but the Islanders should be too much for them. New York wins!
Buffalo Sabres - Pittsburgh Penguins
The Sabres have had a few surprise victories lately, but if they get one here, it'd be just that - A surprise! The Penguins are on a really strong trend, and with Malkin back, they are even more dangerous. Pittsburgh wins!
Montreal Canadiens - Toronto Maple Leafs
The Canadiens will be looking to bounce back after a really bad defeat against the Sens last night. But I don't think they will. They are playing back-to-back while the Leafs are rested. And the Leafs are a better team at that. Toronto wins!
Vancouver Canucks - Edmonton Oilers
The Nucks are running on fumes. This should be an easy one for the Oilers. Edmonton wins!
In summary, my winners are:
Carolina Hurricanes
Boston Bruins
New York Islanders
Pittsburgh Penguins
Toronto Maple Leafs
Edmonton Oilers
