Florida Panthers - Tampa Bay Lightning

This has been the best playoff series so far. We've had two amazing games, that could have gone either way, but Tampa won them both. Now the Panthers need to get wins on the road. But frankly, if they couldn't win those home games, what speaks for them winning in Tampa? For sure it could happen, but I think they burned their two best chances. Now this could very well turn into a sweep, which would be a bit sad, given how good the first two games were. But I wouldn't be surprised to see that. Tampa Bay wins!

Pittsburgh Penguins - New York Islanders

These two have one win each, after having played two games in Pittsburgh. Now they head off to New York, where the Islanders have an advantage. Both teams have done considerably better at home than away this season, and with fans in the stands, it should be even more impactful. On the other hand, playoffs are a different beast, but still, I have to put the Pens as the underdog for that reason. New York wins!

Montreal Canadiens - Toronto Maple Leafs

The Habs have most of their injured players back. They will start with their veterans tonight. I think it's a wise decision. Playoff hockey is a different beast, and experience matters. So, what can we expect from this game? I think the Canadiens will play a defensive, very physical game. I think the Leafs will be physical too, but I think they will be the ones that attempt to do constructive things the most. And they have the skills to do it. I don't think the outcome is certain, but I think the Leafs have a very good chance here. After all, they are a better team. Toronto wins!

Vegas Golden Knights - Minnesota Wild

Another matchup where both teams have won one each. The Wild have dominated Vegas at home, but as I've said before, playoffs are a different beast. With Fleury being the beast he is right now, I find it hard to go against his team. Vegas wins!
