Washington Capitals - Boston Bruins

The Caps have their backs against the wall now. If they lose this one, they are in a serious predicament, that few teams survive. If they win, it's all equal. All games so far have been very, very close. Not a single one has been settled in regulation time! I think this one could go either way too. But if I try to look for an edge in either way, I think of Ovechkin. He's the kind of guy who rises to the occation. I think he will have a good game, and if he does, that can take the Caps far. Washington wins!

Carolina Hurricanes - Nashville Predators

The Canes just look too impressive. The Preds play well and they keep the games close, but this could still turn into a sweep. Carolina wins!

Winnipeg Jets - Edmonton Oilers

Can't keep McDavid and Draisaitl quiet for two games in a row. Or well, one never knows with Hellebuyck in net, but I think the Jets will come short this time. Edmonton wins!

Colorado Avalanche - St Louis Blues

The Blues have played well, but the Avs are just too good right now. Could they win a game? Yes. Can they win the series? No. They will be the underdog in every game, also at home. Colorado wins!
