Pittsburgh Penguins - New York Islanders
These games... There's no telling. The teams are too closely matched. Could go either way. But the Islanders have won two in a row, and now they are playing at home, so I lean slightly towards them. New York wins!
Florida Panthers - Tampa Bay Lightning
The Panthers are brutal at home. But now they head back to Tampa. It seems they found the cure against the supreme Bolts power play - Don't take any penalties! And when they did, the solution was to put a man on Kucherov, and leave Stamkos open, and then hope the goalie saves the shot. And boy, did he! Knight was amazing in the last game! For sure he will start again. Can the Bolts figure him out? I figure someone among Kucherov, Point, Stamkos, Palat... Just has to find a hole somewhere. But how many? The Panthers sure can score too. I think that again, it will come down to avoiding penalties for the Cats. And for the Bolts too I guess. The Panthers scored a couple in power play last game, and have been productive all series, if not as productive as Tampa. And they've been the better team 5v5 across the series. I expect a really good game, a really close game, a really intense game, and the more I think of it, I think that the Panthers have the best chance to come out on top! Florida wins!
Vegas Golden Knights - Minnesota Wild
The Wild keeps biting back, staying alive in the series. Now they have the chance to force a game 7, and I think they have a good chance to do that, but I still think that the slightly more likely outcome is that Vegas turns out to be too strong tonight. They are heavy, they have depth in every part of the game, and they have a freaking wall in net. Vegas wins!
In summary, my winners are:
New York Islanders
Florida Panthers
Vegas Golden Knight
