Montreal Canadiens - Winnipeg Jets
I don't know what to think of this one. Well, I think we can expect a super close and very low-scoring game, but in terms of winners, it's very hard to choose. But I refuse to resort to coin flips. I reason as following. Both teams advanced very much thanks to outstanding goaltending. Hellebuyck played four games for the Jets, then they were done. He has rested since. And while there was some overtime in there, that should be past him now. Connor Hellebuyck is fully rested and ready to go. Meanwhile, Carey Price has had to play seven games, a couple of overtimes, and his last game was just a couple of nights ago. He must be tired. So with two very close teams, both relying on their goaltending for success, I'm going with the rested goalie. Connor He... Eh, I mean, Winnipeg wins!
Vegas Golden Knights - Colorado Avalanche
The Avs schooled Vegas in the first game. I don't think this one will be as one-sided, but I think the Avs will come out on top again. They are just better. Especially better at converting their chances. Colorado wins!
In summary, my winners are:
Winnipeg Jets
Colorado Avalanche
