As usually on a Saturday, there's a long stretch of games. I think it will be a great hockey day! Here's my outlook for the games, the teams that I think will win! 

New Jersey Devils - New York Rangers 

The Rangers showed who's boss in the last meeting. They are far better right now, so this is an easy call. New York Rangers wins! 

Washington Capitals - Philadelphia Flyers 

The Flyers haven't given up yet. It was a close, good game last time, where the Flyers grabbed two very important points. They need to keep winning if they are to have a chance to catch Boston. But I think the Capitals will take revenge here. They have so many goalscorers, and I feel they will get the goals. Washington wins! 

Pittsburgh Penguins - Buffalo Sabres 

One shouldn't take Buffalo lightly. They've started winning games. They've lost all four against the Penguins though, and the Pens have played very well lately. Pittsburgh wins! 

Ottawa Senators - Montreal Canadiens 

The Habs have struggled with the Sens this season, losing four out of seven. With the defenders Ottawa traded away before the deadline though, I feel the Canadiens should be at an advantage. The Senators are rested though, which is a considerable advantage. Montreal played last night. It's hard to tell the outcome for sure, but I think that Ottawa should be considered the underdog. So, Montreal wins! 

St Louis Blues - Arizona Coyotes 

This is a must-win for the Yotes! The Blues are running away with the playoff spot. Sure, they are only one point ahead, but they also have two games in hand. The Coyotes have actually done pretty well against the Blues this season, but I feel that St Louis have played much better lately, than they did at the time where they lost a bunch of games to Arizona. I expect a close and low-scoring game, but I have a clear top dog. St Louis wins! 

Nashville Predators - Carolina Hurricanes 

The Canes have owned the Preds this season. I thought the tides would change in the last game, because Nashville has been really good for a while now. But no, Carolina showed that they still own them. Considering that, I have to go with them here. Carolina wins! 

Florida Panthers - Tampa Bay Lightning 

The Bolts won this meeting the other night, after Hedman scored a winner in overtime. It was a very close game, where Vasilevsky was outstanding. I expect him to start again, which would be a huge advantage for Tampa. They fare much better with Vasi in net, than with McElhinney. As for the game, I expect another close one, that could go either way. But the Vasilevsky factor decides it for me. Tampa Bay wins! 

Chicago Blackhawks - Detroit Red Wings 

Detroit showed in the last meeting that they shouldn't be underestimated. They are not easy to play against. I think the Hawks will be out for revenge after the last meeting though, and they have to get wins if they are to catch Nashville in the playoff race. It's not by much, but they are my pick. Chicago wins! 

Edmonton Oilers - Winnipeg Jets 

The Oilers have had quite a rest. A bit too long. I think it's a disadvantage actually. But a week off shouldn't make them completely cold. And they have won four out of six against the Jets. As for Winnipeg, they have played well lately, and grabbed a bunch of wins, and they tend to do better when playing at home. I think this one is up in the air. It could really go either way. In the end, I'll go with the Oilers because of their four previous wins in these meetings. Edmonton wins! 

San Jose Sharks - Minnesota Wild 

The Sharks are falling behind in the playoff race. They lost this meeting last night, and now they will give it a new go. It was a close game last night, but they Wild have a brutal record at home. If I remember right, they've won 14 of their last 15 home games. I can't go against that. Minnesota wins! 

Columbus Blue Jackets - Dallas Stars 

The Stars need to grab wins to catch up to Nashville. I think they have a good chance to get one here. Columbus are no push-overs, but they are out of the race, and they've traded away a couple of key players. I expect a close game, but I think that the Blue Jackets are the underdog. Dallas wins!
