This article is meant to educate and inform people to be weary of crypto casinos, as well as shine a light on some bad actors representing themselves as trust worthy by name, when in reality they are thieves...

If you are unfamiliar with trustdice.win let’s me inform you of what they do. They are a crypto based casino offering their own native token as a reward for gambling on their ‘platform’. The token is known by the name “TXT” and hodling on the site in the form of “staking” is supposed to entitle you to dividend rewards from the site (this however is a lie, because they only give you dividends on ONE game type, and not the WHOLE ‘PLATFORM’ as is promised)

anyway, my story starts about two weeks ago... I was a pretty avid user (despite heavy loss) and was in chat talking with other users about how to trade their native token (which is difficult cause it’s only on one active exchange which REQUIRES you to use USDT) and somewhere in the explanation a user decided to send me a bulk of TXT (valued around 75$) to my account directly...

I had signed off when he sent the funds...

I tried to return to my account later only to find the admin and dev teams of the site decided to take it upon themselves to freeze my account and lock me out of the site. So when I reached out to the admin, they told why/what happened...

my response might seem callous to some(or most) but I think it was fair... i basically asked the admin how it was my problem that some other user messed up and sent me the funds. I didn’t do anything wrong, and I wasn’t even online when it happened. Yet I was punished with a ban.

the admin then told me that the only way my account would be restored is if I returned the funds. (Which because of extortion, I agreed to) although it should be known that I had no intention of doing so, as I said, I made no mistake, I didn’t do anything wrong and I didn’t put the user who sent the funds in a position to think he had to, nor would he get something out of it...

I scammed no one, someone was just dumb, hows that my fault?...

anyway, days go by and the admin finally remembers to check in... I inform him that I have no real intention of returning the mis-spent funds as I have not done anything wrong, and in no way did I entice him to send me anything, it wasn’t my problem...

that’s when stuff got kinda dark...

the admin froze my account again, and told me I would not get access back this time, I was done there. (Effectively stealing the 75$ a user SENT me AS WELL as around 250$ of my own crypto/earned currency) I implored the admin to listen to reason and release my account as I had broken no rules and then, the admin decided to say something I thought I would NEVER hear a crypto casino say...

the ADMIN OF THE SITE then seemingly threatened to give out my PERSONAL INFORMATION as some sort of a scare tactic... below is a picture of this ‘admin’s’ ballsy behavior.

Im sure there will be mixed feelings as to my actions when it comes to the whole situation, however I don’t feel like under any circumstance is it right, or the place of a administrator for a site to offer up people’s personal information...

My account status at trustdice.win is still frozen and banned... the user who sent me his TXT never had it returned from the admin/dev team after freezing my account so they effectively stole funds from two users in one action.

Unfortunately I’m not the only player to have been banned for no reason or fault of their own...

another user of the ‘platform’ won 100ETH recently IN ONE DAY. The next day, his account had been frozen/banned and the casino which operates under the guise of trust, DID NOT pay him out the 100ETH withdraw before they banned and froze his account, alleging he had created a multiple account and therefore for violating terms and conditions was not entitled to his crypto... which even IF that’s true, doesn’t give the casino a right to outright steal his funds.

my reason for writing the article is two fold, I want everyone to know (obviously) that this particular casino’s business model seems to be ripping of its players to sustain profitability and its own bankroll...

and secondly, be aware of ALL transactions that you make using crypto currencies or through blockchain technology. Sometimes I feel like people forget the fact the the users have full control of their earned funds (in most cases) and any reckless decision YOU make in terms of SENDS falls squarely on the shoulders of YOU the user (in MOST cases).

Just BE CAREFUL out there guys, and stay THE FUCK away from this casino. :)
