A new job listing for a chief financial officer (CFO) who knows bitcoin has revealed that Time, the 98-year-old American news magazine, is getting into the cryptocurrency and blockchain space. In addition, Time will sell non-fungible token (NFT) assets through Superrare, and the news organization will accept crypto assets in 30 days.

According to a job posting on Linkedin, Time magazine, an American publication company, is looking for a new CFO who is familiar with bitcoin and blockchain technology.
The work advertisement states, "The media industry is undergoing a rapid evolution." “Time is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to assist in the company's transformation.”
According to the job posting's qualifications section, the interested party must also have "comfort with bitcoin and cryptocurrencies." In addition, the candidate must have held executive leadership positions for at least seven years.
Time sells NFTs, and soon, digital subscriptions will be accepted in digital currencies.
Time is auctioning off non-fungible token (NFT) assets based on iconic cover designs in addition to looking for a CFO who knows bitcoin. The publisher is auctioning the NFT "Is Fiat Dead?" along with two other NFT covers on Superrare. Currently, the “Is Fiat Dead?” has the highest bid.
Time describes on the Superrare auction website that the typography on the two most recent covers had to be hand-drawn. “As there is no modern type foundry that has an exact replica of the one used on the original cover,” says the author.
Finally, Time magazine's President Keith Grossman tweeted that the company will accept crypto assets for payment within the next 30 days. Collectibles will always be valuable, but Time's crypto ambitions are greater as we continue our digital transformation,” Grossman sent out a tweet.
“Within 30 days, Time will accept cryptocurrencies for digital subscriptions, with more to follow through Julia LaRoche,” Grossman added.
